The Centre runs an on-site Occasional Childcare service, Mondays from 9.30 – 2.30.

Community Bus

The Baringhup-Maldon Community Bus does regular runs to Castlemaine, Maryborough and Kangaroo Flat.
A door-to-door service, provided by volunteer drivers, operating Tuesdays and Fridays.

Bus Charters

Our community bus is available for hire (with driver or self-drive) to community groups, clubs, families and event organisers.

Room & Equipment Hire

The Centre’s meeting and event spaces are available for individuals, community organisations or businesses to hire. Equipment is also available to hire for events on or off-site.

Auspicing for Local Groups

Maldon Neighbourhood Centre supports community initiatives and works with local groups and organisations to do what they want to do, sustainably. As an incorporated organisation, the Centre can ‘host’ a non-incorporated community group (or individual) through an auspice arrangement.

Maldon Neighbourhood Centre, Our Services, Get Involved

Get Involved

We simply wouldn't be here, doing all the things that we do, without the support ideas, activism, energy, skill and community networks of our volunteers and members.

Learn how you can get involved with the Maldon Neighbourhood Centre.

We acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this land – the ground on which the Centre stands and the place where we gather and work.

We respect their deep spiritual connection to Country, and we honour the Elders whose knowledge and wisdom have ensured the continuation of culture and traditional practices for over 60,000 years.

We stand with Australia’s First People in support of their aspirations and human rights.
